A nice small 18th or 19th century blanc de chine Dehua white glazed libation cup. It was delicately moulded with birds, clouds, dragons and floral patterns etc. and covered in a smooth pure white glaze. It is in perfect condition with a minor firing glaze crack. A fine Kangxi mark and period blue and white figural klapmuts bowl. It was elaborately and finely decorated with the illustrations from the book, 'Xixiangji, Romantic stories from the West Bower', a popular decoration motif in China during the 17th century. The base has the six character Kangxi mark in double circles and two very old collector's labels. It is from the early Kangxi period. Ex. Christie's New York. A fine Kangxi period (AD1662 - 1722) blue and white 'Three Friends' ginger jar, finely painted with the sought-after 'Suihansanyou, Three Friends of the Winter' pattern in underglaze blue. It was perfectly preserved although the cover was lost. Replacement cover is NOT zitan but lacquered wood. Date: Kangxi period (AD 1662 - 1722); Height: 7 1/4 inches; Condition: perfect but cover lost.

An important dated Yue 'mise' type shard. It was the base part of a saucer. The saucer was probably a tribute for the Northern Song court. The four characters on the base, 'Taiping mouyin' correspond to the cyclical year mouyin of the Taiping Xingguo era of the Northern Song dynasty or AD 978.
