A fine Qing dynasty, 19th century white jade floral button. These buttons were used by the wealthy people in China for adorning clothes before the Qing dynasty. It is made of a fine jade material of an even tone. The details of the snowflake-shaped floral scrolls were finely and nicely carved. A very rare and fine large Tang dynasty sancai glazed 'guan' jar. It has a well-potted balanced shape. The upper part of the body was covered in a low-fired colourful vivid yellow, green and brown sancai glaze. It is in excellent condition with three kiln scars on the mouth rim as shown in the photos.
