| This is a large beautiful antique Empress Dowager Cixi style yellow ground grisaille decorated saucer. It was decorated with a finely painted scene of blossoming peach blossom in grisaille on an imperial yellow ground. The back was further decorated with three floral scrolls in grisaille. It was signed 'Dayazhai' which was the name of the hall where the Empress Dowager lived on the front and 'yong qing chang chun' on the back in iron red. The shape was perfect and well-potted. Its condition is very good considering its size and age. It only has a very faint and short hairline. Date: Empress Dowager Cixi (AD 1861 - 1908). Conditions: one very faint and short hairline.
