This is a rare and impressive late 19th century Iranian Qajar stoneware jar. It was splendidly decorated with flowers adopted from textile patterns. The palette follows that of 16th century Damascus ware. It is in the rare pristine condition. Dating: late 19th century; Height: 14 inches; max. diameter: 9 inches; Condition: pristine.
