Antique 19th Century Model 1845 French heavy cavalry sword with a brass hilt with a semi basket guard cast and chased in low relief with flowers and garlands with a ribbed horn grip and brass pommel engraved with leaves. A massive slightly curved (almost straight) single edged and double fullered blade with a spear point and engraved on the spine with the inscription "Manufacture de klingenthal Colaux". The ricasso bearing ordnance inspector F.A.Bisch marks ,a small shield with "B" and a star above and also with "B" in ellipse. (1844-1861). The sword is in its original steel scabbard with two suspension rings.
CONDITION: The sword is in good condition considering its age except for tiny natural age cracks in the horn and one chip near the pommel.
MEASUREMENTS: Overall length with the scabbard: 94 cm (37 inches). Length of the sword without the scabbard: 90.5 cm (35 5/8 inches). Length of the blade: 77.5 cm (30 1/4 inches).

Authentic Antique 18th -19th century Russian Asiatic sword 'Shashka' from the former Russian Empire. DETAILS: A slightly curved single edged blade decorated on both sides with four hand chiseled cartouches with a scene depicting a lion pursuing a deer. The ricasso is stamped with the maker's name inscribed in Arabic letters. The hilt is with dark brown wooden grip-scales with a characteristic hooked bifurcated pommel. The sword is with its original black leather covered wooden scabbard.
CONDITION: The sword is in good condition except for a small crack in the blade with an old repair by brass.
MEASUREMENTS: The overall length with the scabbard is 90.3 cm (35 ½ in). The overall length without the scabbard is 89.6 cm (35 3/8 in).
REFERENCES: Similar sword is published in “The Lyle Official Arms & Armour Review 1983” page 114 identified as Caucasian Shasqua. These types of Shashka were also used by the Russian Central Asian Cossacks. Reference: Lebedynsky (3) page75 and 76.

Antique 18th century Eastern European flintlock holster pistol with a steel barrel stamped at the breech with the maker's mark, engraved in the French taste and retained by a wire muzzle band. A high quality Steel lock engraved with foliage. A wooden full stock partly carved and mounted with metal furniture.
CONDITION: The pistol is in overall good condition, the metal furniture is with signs of old repairs; the ramrod is a later replacement. The wooden stock is with some minor handling marks and light dings. The mechanism of the lock works very well.
MEASUREMENTS: Overall length: 51 cm (20 in).

Authentic antique late 18th century Persian "vambraces" armour for the forearms BAZU BAND made of well hand hammered steel with arabesque borders. The centre is decorated with three lobed medallions and a beautifully hand chiseled floral pattern decorated in gold and silver koftgari damascening with the chain mail gauntlet dastuvana on the leather and fabric lining.
MEASUREMENTS: length with the dastuvana: 45 cm (17 ¾ in).

Antique 17th century Thirty Year War period (1618–1648) North European Backplate formed of one plate flanged outwards at the base with plain turns at the neck and arm–opening and pierced with holes at each shoulder and each side of the waist for attaching shoulder-straps and the waist-belt.
CONDITION: A black lacquered finish overall, in very good condition for its age, some light pitting.
MEASUREMENTS: Height: 43 cm (17 in), width at the widest point of the base: 45.5 cm (18 in).

Authentic antique 19th century Russian Kuban Cossack sword 'Shashka'. DETAILS: A long and broad slightly curved single edged blade with a wide full-length fuller. A hilt made of brown bone grips-scales with a hooked bifurcated pommel retained by two iron rivets.
CONDITION: The sword is in good condition except for a small crack in one of the horn scales near the lower rivet and some minor pitting to the blade.
MEASUREMENTS: Overall length: 90 cm (35 3/8 inches). Length of the blade: 74.5 cm (29 3/8) inches.
On the base of this sword was designed the Government Issue 1904 Pattern trooper's KUBAN COSSACK Shashka and mass produced by the Zlatoust Arms Factory, except that this is an older 19th century version of the Kuban Cossack sword.

Pair of antique 19th century American percussion pistols by ALLEN AND THURBER. Details: center hammer, turn-off barrels for loading; half-round, half-octagonal, dated 1845 and stamped “Cast Steel, Patented” and serial numbers: 556 & 901. Scroll engraved frame, trigger guard, plain bag shaped walnut grips. Bar hammers are marked with ALLENS PATENT.
CONDITION: One of the pistol action is defective otherwise in good condition.
MEASUREMENTS: The overall length is 19 cm (7 ½ in).

Antique late 16th century European knight stirrup formed from a hand forged iron plate, reinforced at the front and the sides and the bottom of the wooden base with iron straps mounted in a heavy iron band with a suspension -loop, the interior is fitted with leather lining. Such armored stirrups supported and gave the stability for the horsemen in amour and also well protected the feet in battle.
CONDITION: The stirrups are in good condition considering the age except for minor damages on the edges and a few dents on the surface.
MEASUREMENTS: Overall length: 28 cm (11 in). Width: 14 cm (5 ½ in), height: 15 cm (5 7/8 in).
