Authentic antique 14th-15th century medieval KNIGHT Rondel dagger excavated in Europe from a river during World War II. Details: A sturdy tapering blade of diamond section for breaking Armor. The hilt is comprised of a circular iron guard, a slender tang, and an oval shaped flat bronze pommel. The dagger is in an original excavated condition, the guard and the pommel are with remains of rivets to fasten a wooden grip. Condition: The dagger is in an excavated condition, however since it was found in a river the rust is not deep so there are no surprises such as a break hidden below the rust surface or the metal being completely corroded to the point of just rust, therefore for an approximately 600 year old dagger it is considered to be in good condition. Overall length: 29.5 cm (11 5/8 in). References: "Arms And Armor" by Frederic Wilkinson, "Knives & Daggers" by Zdenek Faktor Figure: 113.
