Antique 19th century Arab silver –mounted dagger Jambiya with curved double-edged blade formed with a medial ridge, silver hilt of open wire fine filigree bead work with raised knobbed pattern, silver scabbard with wooden insert decorated with repousse in the typical tribal motifs and fitted with a belt loops for suspension.
Overall length with the scabbard: 31.5 cm (12 3/8 inches).
Condition: The Jambiya is in good condition and shape considering its age with signs of age and usage patina.

Antique 19th century Indo Persian Islamic Sword “Khyber Knife” or “Salawar Yatagan”. This is the national sword of the Afridis, and many other tribes living in and near the Khyber Pass, Turkistan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan. Details: A straight and heavy single-edged blade tapering gradually from the hilt to the point, with a wide rib at the back, the hilt is formed of two pieces of horn riveted to the tang, mounted in steel, decorated in a traditional manner, the guard- slight projection of the hilt. In its original wooden scabbard covered by brown leather, fitted with a large brass chape, decorated in a floral motif.

CONDITION: The sword is in very good condition, except for the pommel chipped on one side of the horn, otherwise in good condition.
MEASUREMENTS: overall length with the scabbard: 66 cm (26 in) the length without scabbard: 56 cm (22 inches)

Large watercolor of Istanbul by a Turkish artist showing the Hagia Sopha through the trees and on one side is probably the column of Constantine. The water is very well executed and signed, but unfortunately the signature can not be read. The first letter is “G”. Perhaps someone with knowledge of Turkish art can identify the painter. The picture is framed, but the piece can be sent without the frame.
MEASUREMENTS: Size in the frame: 92 x 30 ¼ inches.

Antique 18th century Indo Persian Islamic armour arm guard (Bazuband) of characteristic form made of hand forged steel profusely chiselled in low relief with three medallions containing Persian figures, heightened with gold-damascened borders on a floral and vegetal ground deviated by lobed panels depicting various animals.
MEASUREMENTS: Length 31 cm (12 1/4 in). Width at the widest point: 10 cm (3 7/8 inches).
CONDITION: in good condition considering its age, except for worn gold damascening

Ancient Celtic Hallstatt Culture ( 800 to 475BC) large bronze belt buckle decorated at the center with three embossed medallions and ribbed design around the edges with two pairs of holes on the left and right sides for attaching the buckle to the belt .
MEASUREMENTS: 7 ¾ inches (19.7cm) x 4 inches (10.2cm).
CONDITION: showing the age blue and dark green patina.

Antique 17th century circa 1650, Indian Mughal horseman’s sword Firangi. The name Firangi is derived from Frank (Western Foreigner), and was given to these swords in the 17 Century by Indians, as the blades for these swords were imported European blades, which were highly valued. Details: A long straight single edged steel blade of European origin with three fullers, mounted in the classical Khanda form iron hilt with a guard and pommel spike..

Antique 18th -19th century Indo Persian "vambraces" armour for the forearms Islamic BAZU BAND made of well hand hammered steel, etched over its full surface with the tree of life, above the legendary Persian hornet Div Akvan. The border is adorned by eleven cartouches containing script in Arabic calligraphy heightened with silver damascening koftgari. The Bazuband has remains of its original gauntlet dastuvana made of leather and fabric with a chain mail band.
MEASUREMENTS: Overall length of the bazuband alone, not including the leather dastuvana: 35 cm (13 3/4 in). Width at the widest point: 11 cm (4 3/8 inches).
CONDITION: In good condition considering its age, except for worn silver damascening, the leather and fabric of the dastuvana is in bad condition, damaged, and very dry.
