Late 19th Century German music box stein from the city Heidelberg beautifully decorated in relief with Heidelberg castle and heraldic shield below. DETAILS: on the ribbon reads; “ALT HEIDELBERG DU FEINE DU STADT AN EHREN REICH”, the handle is branch shape decorated with the acorns, painted by real cobalt with rich glaze, pewter lid is with nice old patina, music box is on the bottom with wind up key; when you lift the stein it plays a tune, put it down it stops, it plays nice melody however I am ...click for details
