Late 17th Century Spanish Baroque religious painting represents the Mary Magdalene holding a scull; beside her is a container for oil. Over 200 years ago the painting was relined; both canvases are hand woven (as seen on the photo). Probably the painting was previously folded in half for transportation reasons as there is a line in the middle. The stretching frame is modern. The piece exhibits outstanding workmanship; the photograph does not do justice to the quality of the painting
