American Eight Day Clock in working order, second half of the 19th century. DETAILS: The clock strikes on the ˝ hour and on the hour, mechanism has two different chimes; it plays two different tunes for the hours and half-hours, in wooden case, enamel dial surrounded by brass bezel, the dial carries the inscription “Made by the Sessions Clock Co., Forestville, Conn. U.S.A.”.
