Ancient Chinese Han Dynasty (206 BC-220 AD) cast bronze circular mirror with multiple nipples decorated with “TLV” ancient motif that embodied concepts of early Chinese astronomy and cosmology. Such mirrors were in effect miniature universes that could be held in the palm of one's hand.
MEASUREMENTS: Diameter: 15,5 cm (6 1/8 in). CONDITION: in good condition with beautiful greenish patina.
