Pair of antique 19th century American percussion pistols by ALLEN AND THURBER. Details: center hammer, turn-off barrels for loading; half-round, half-octagonal, dated 1845 and stamped “Cast Steel, Patented” and serial numbers: 556 & 901. Scroll engraved frame, trigger guard, plain bag shaped walnut grips. Bar hammers are marked with ALLENS PATENT.
CONDITION: One of the pistol action is defective otherwise in good condition. MEASUREMENTS: The overall length is 19 cm (7 ½ in). We are shipping internationally; no fire arms permit is required.
