| William Spratling sterling silver, copper, and rosewood dragonfly brooch. This is an original Spratling design, made at the Spratling Ranch in Taxco, Mexico. This piece has been reissued by Spratling Silver, using the original mold and methods. The dragonfly measures 2 1/4" long(from antenna to tail) and 2 5/8" wide (from wing tip to wing tip). The dragonfly also has two applied copper balls for his eyes. This piece is stamped on the back with the Spratling 925 silver mark and is also stamped TS-24.
