A most wonderful Rare Black Bakelite Bracelet, carved in an Art Deco pattern of dots and dashes with linear top and bottom single border. And the best part is that it is overpainted in the old Silver paint to emphasize the carving. I date this bracelet to the mid to late 30's. From a great old Estate.
No testing needed here, the bracelet is a prime example of the era and is Bakelite but will not test positive as it is overdyed.

A masterpiece of Mexican Silverplate, a Table Ornament in the form of a Gong, the frame a continuous display of fantastic stylized Fish, Birds, Snakes and at the top and base, fierce Aztec Warrior faces, both sides decorated the same, with high relief figures. The base is stepped with geometric designs, stylized figures and holds two figural Birds which serve as the resting place for, I assume, a small mallet with which to use the gong. An older Zuni Pin in the shape of a Roadrunner inlaid with various semi-precious stones, Turquoise, Mother of Pearl and possibly petrified wood, a small piece in Sterling Silver but unmarked as is usual. The clasp is a safety style in excellent condition. The size is 1-5/8" x 1/2". This is a particularily nice form of the Roadrunner design. The 1950-60 era in age.

Terrific Bakelite and Gold color finshed metal Fish, the body carved and resin washed, painted gold in the carving. The back is a lightly textured, brushed Goldtone metal, the front a polished Goldtone finish. Late 40's in age, this Cutie is in excellent condition and fastens with a safety closure.
SIZE: 1-1/4" X 3/4" but don't let the size fool you..he is one fine fish!

From a Texas Estate, this is an Antique Impressionist Oil on Board. A Mexican Landscape Painting from the late 19th Century-early 20th Century. Beautiful pair of vintage Cufflinks decorated with an engraved bright cut design of a Japanese Pagoda with foliage on rectangular faces. Marked STERLING 950 , no maker mark, The work however is consistant with fine Japanese Sterling of the pre WWII era.

CONDITION; excellent, the back of one link is slightly bent, more so than the other link, they do still fasten easily.
