A great Larait vintage Bracelet made with 57 wired beads on patinated brass links in the warmest Tropical Orange plastic. The beads are 1/4" diameter , the total length of bracelet is 9-1/4" , the beaded area is 6" long. The bracelet is fastened by a simple hook closure.
CONDITION: excellent with overall darkening of the linked chain, no damage, no greening of the brass.

From a local Estate this is a great Memory Wire Glass Beaded bracelet, the bracelet band beads graduate from 1/4" center to 1/8" at the end and is 4 strands wide. A WWII era bracelet, great look with white linen, the larger colorful beads fastened by wire on the front of the bracelet. I believe that these delectable vintage Butterscotch Hoop Earrings are the Best I have seen in all my the years of selling Bakelite. The hoops alone are 2" in diameter, with the total length 3". Fabulous Snow white hard molded Plastic Rhinestone hinged Clamper Bracelet, the Rhinestones set into the hidden opening and surrounding band. This bracelet construction is different from most of this era in that the round plastic beads and Rhinestone panels are glue set on the band and not part of the mold. All the signs point to this bird having been made by the Takahashi family and possibly an early piece. The shape does vary from the Parrot shown on the Takahashi website, the difference being the top wing shape. The lacquer finish on this bird has darkened considerably and that causes the colors which are finely hand painted to be a bit dull but does show the age of the Pin, which I believe to be early 1950's. An unusual Art Moderne Brooch or Pin made of a translucent plastic material which I think is acryllic, it does resemble Bakelite but does not test positive. Shape appears to be a Moon surrounding a Sun, the waved base is possibly to represent Rays of light. The pin fastener is imbedded in the back.
