All the signs point to this bird having been made by the Takahashi family and possibly an early piece. The shape does vary from the Parrot shown on the Takahashi website, the difference being the top wing shape. The lacquer finish on this bird has darkened considerably and that causes the colors which are finely hand painted to be a bit dull but does show the age of the Pin, which I believe to be early 1950's. Gorgeous figural Brooch of a Tropical Bird, Parrot, decorated in red, blue and green Enamels and pave Rhinestones on a Goldtone finished metal. Finely designed and in excellent condition, the brooch is fastened by a safety clasp pin. Marked A&S on the back for the English firm of Atwood & Sawyer (1956- ?). Cute vintage Har Scarecrow Pin decorated in enamel and Rhinestones on a goldtone metal, fastened by a safety clasp in good working order. The pin is unmarked but is guaranteed to be made by Har. SIZE: 2" X 1-1/4". CONDITION: there is a pin head size enamel chip at the top of his hat, crazing is evident on the clear enamel coating when magnified. 1960's in age, he is adorable and will make a nice addition to your collection.

Lovely Goldtone mesh Whiting and Davis choker necklace. A style I have not seen before in a 1" wide mesh with hook and chain closure. The necklace is small and is made in a collar style.
