A blue Arts and Crafts style earthenware art vase relief decorated with a single leaping fish. The base is impressed C H Brannam, Barum, N.Devon - a mark used circa 1900-1914 by the Brannam pottery, Barnstable. Condition - there is one large and a number of small chips to the base; no cracks and no restoration. 19.7cm (7.8 inches) high.

SOLD through our Liverpool shop - September 2010 

A rare Staffordshire "Prattware" tea caddy, unusually with original cover. On each side are moulded caricatures of Georgian "society" figures with their servants/attendants. This item was made during the last quarter of the 18th Century, circa 1780-1790. Condition - there are chips to the under side of the cover and the finial has been re-glued. There are some minor surface glaze losses to the edges and the figures. There are no cracks and there has been no restoration. 6.5 inches (16.5cm) high

A large Arts and Crafts slip decorated earthenware jug made by the North Devon pottery C.H.Brannam circa 1900 - 1920. The base carries the incised initials "FB" for Frederick Braddon (c1889-1934) and also the circular impressed mark - "LIBERTY LONDON " with "BRITISH MADE" to the centre (see enlargement 11). This item was commisioned for retail by Liberty and Co. of London. Condition - very good - there is just one tiny chip to the rim (please see enlargemets 5 and 9). 10.75 inches(27.5cm high).

大款泥釉饰手工艺陶艺罐,约1900-1920年间制于North Devon(北德文郡)的C.H.Brannam陶艺作坊。罐底有作者名字Frederick Braddon(约1889-1934)的首字母"FB", 还有一圈印记"LIBERTY LONDON",印记中间是"BRITISH MADE"(见图11)。此品为伦敦Liberty & Co公司的零售品。

A rare mid 19th Century blue and white transfer printed earthenware jug depicting a tiger hunt in India. This item was possibly part of a specially commissioned service as the only other jug we could find with this design also carries the "owner's" name - B. Pursell. This jug was made by Jonathan Lowe Chetham, Commerce street, Longton circa 1841-1862. Condition - good. There are light hairlines on the base and a little surface scratching. No chips and no restoration. 13cm (5 inches) High.

A very rare and large lustre, flambe-glazed Pilkingtons Royal Lancastrian vase. The base is impressed with the number 2218A and also carries the 'Bee' mark which dates it to between 1906 and 1915. Condition is very good with no damages and no restoration. 14.75 inches (37.5cm) High.

A gilded and skillfully painted stoneware preserve pot, made by Taylor Tunnicliffe, with silver plated rim and handle. The cover is missing. The design was registered in 1886 and this item was probably made during the late 1880s. There are no chips, cracks or restoration. 4.5 Inches (11.5cm) High
