A very finely painted vase depicting a dragon and phoenix in flight amongst clouds and above breaking waves. The base carries a very rare four character mark which, in Pinyin, reads Jin Yu Feng Ji. There is an underglaze chip and related under glaze loss to the dragon's decoration (please view enlargement 9) which were caused in the manufacturing process during the second firing (before the glaze was applied) probably as a result of contact with another object in the kiln. This item was made in China in the late 19th/early 20th Century, during the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). Condition - there is a small inside rim chip (please view enlargement 6), no further damages and no restoration. 24cm (9.5inches) high. Please note - because of its unusual shape, the decoration of this vase is difficult to photograph. We will be very happy supply additional enlargements on request.
清光绪 精美的青花龙凤玉堂春瓶
一件工艺精美的青花穿云龙凤玉堂春瓶。底有少见的“金玉锋记”四字款。靠近圈足的底部有一处釉下缺口，及与其相连的龙身一处釉下青花颜色的缺失（见图9），可能是在二次烧造过程中（上釉之前）在窑内与另一器物碰触造成的。作于19世纪末20世纪初，估为光绪年间。
品相：口沿内部有一处小磕（见图6），无其他损伤或修复。高24厘米。

A small jar decorated in early 18th Century Kangxi style with Famille Verte / Wucai enamels depicting a legendary battle scene possibly from from the historical epic novel "San Guo Zhi Yan Yi" (Romance of the Three Kingdoms) attributed to the 14th Century novelist Luo Guanzhong. This item was made for export during the late 19th/early 20th Century, probably during the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). Condition - very good - no damages and no restoration. 12cm (4.7ins) high.

An archaic style jar with crackle-glaze and simulated metal mounts depicticting a Scholar / Musician with a Servant carrying a Qin (string instrument). This item was made in the late 19th Century for export, possibly during the reign of the Tongzhi emperor (1862-1874) when this style was first introduced. Condition - excellent no damage and no restoration. 13.5cm (5.3inches) high; weight 0.76kg (1lb10oz)

A very finely painted Chinese blue and white vase painted in late 17th Century 'Transitional' style. The base carries the four character mark of the Kangxi emperor but this item was made later during the 19th Century. Condition - there is a small impact chip to the shoulder and associated old body cracks (please see pictures no.3 and no.9 ) and there is production glaze loss ('fritting') to the base rim (see enlargement no. 8). 26cm (10.3 inches) high.

A fine and very rare bat-shaped porcelain censer with what are apparently bat head feet. We believe that there would originally have been a wood cover secured into the two outer holes and that the incense smoke would have escaped through the three central holes. This item was made in China for the domestic market as a temple or home alter piece in the early 18th Century, probably during the reign of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1722). Condition - excellent - no damages and no restoration. 8.5cm (3.3inches) high;12cm (4.75inches) wide. Weight: 400gm (14oz).
稀有的18世纪松石绿釉蝙蝠型瓷香炉 清康熙
一件精美稀有的松石绿釉蝙蝠型三足瓷香炉。香炉足部似以蝠首装饰。我们认为香炉原本有一木盖，通过炉身两侧的圆孔固定，使用时，炉烟从另外中间三孔冒出。作于18世纪，约清康熙年间，为寺庙或居家祭祀之用。

A very large, exceptionally finely cast, bronze censer in Ming form but with archaic (Zhou) style decoration of Imperial quality. The base carries the six character reign mark of the Ming Xuande emperor (1426-1435) but this item was made in China later, during the early 18th Century. Condition - there is old impact damage with an old repair - please view enlargements 5,6,7 and 8; also the five clawed dragons on the base have had a single claw removed; no further damages or restoration. Height 16.5cm (6.5inches);Diameter of mouth 29.5cm (11.6inches);diameter inside mouth 27.5cm (10.8inches); 1cm (0.4inches) thick.Weight 9.2kg (20lb)
精美稀有的17/18世纪大件铜香炉
