A rare bamboo form porcelain brush pot with finely moulded bamboo decoration coated with a bright and vibrant turquoise glaze.

This brush pot / bitong was made in China early in the 18th Century during the reign of the Kangxi or Yongzheng emperor, circa 1700 - 1730.
