An attractively enamelled Kutani porcelain figure of a Geisha made in Japan for export circa 1890-1910. Condition: Good - there are, easily restored, minor losses to the black enamels; no chips or cracks and no repairs or restoration. 29.5cm (11.6inches) high.

A rare carved ivory Netsuke in the form of a Lion or Karashishi, made in Japan in the Edo / Tokugawa period (1600-1868), probably during the 18th Century. Condition: Excellent - age yellowing and cracks - no damages or losses and no restoration. 4cm (1.6inches)long; 3.6cm (1.3inches) high; 2.4cm (0.9inches) deep. Please note - purchasers from outside the European Union will require a CITES Certificate and may also require import documentation within their own country.

An attractively enamelled and gilded late 19th Century Satsuma earthenware cup and saucer depicting insects and a frog amongst flowers and grasses. There is the impressed signature for the artist, Taizan, on the base of both cup and saucer. Condition: there are two hairlines - extremely faint on the outside but clearly visible to the interior running from the top of the handle; no further damages and no restoration. A silvered metal plaque, possibly antimony, on a base metal (lead / tin) alloy with finely cast dragons encircling a mythical scene. This item was probably made in Japan circa 1890-1920 during the Meiji or Taisho periods. Condition: there are many casting imperfections to the surface, particularly in the bottom right area: no losses or damages. 30cm (12inches) diameter Weight: 1.5 kg (3.5lbs)

A Cloisonne Enamel vase depicting two Manchurian Cranes, made in Japan for export during the Meiji period (1868-1911). Condition - there is an under rim chip and one to the body (please view enlargements 8 & 9); there are very minor losses to the enamel and there are stress cracks. There have been no repairs or restoration. 18cm (7inches) high.

Condition - there is substantial wear and scratching to the surface including shallow chipping but no exposure of copper on the outside; there is a small area of enamel loss next to the rim on the underside (please view enlargements). 30cm (12inch) diameter.

These items were made in Japan for export during the Meiji period (1868-1911). Condition - both have some impact bumping but no losses and no restoration. 15 cm (6 inches) high.
