A rare Ruskin pottery vase with crystaline matt glaze, possibly an experimental piece, unusually carrying the incised signature of William Howson-Taylor on the base and with an impressed 1930 date. A very attractively decorated - 3.3inch (8.5cm) high - flambe glazed Wilkinsons "Oriflamme" vase - unusually depicting an oriental style carp.

A rare and charming pair of Compton Pottery figures made between 1902 & 1936. Both carry the impressed mark of the Compton Potters guild on the base. The head of the boy has been re-glued. No other damages and no restoration, they are 8.7 inches(22cm) high.
