A rare and attractive 'scarified' Kuba palm wine cup. Condition - excellent. Nicely patinated and with no damages. This item displays no sign of having been used and must have travelled to Liverpool from the Congo shortly after having been made circa 1900 to 1950 or earlier.

A rare and unusual South African painted Ostrich egg depicting 'Cape Malay' people in early Victorian (mid 19th Century) costume.
There is wear and losses to the painting.

A good carved Shetani (spirit figure) from either Kenya or Tanzania and dating to the 1950s/1960s (or earlier). There are typical age related cracks and there is an old, crude, glue repair to the base (please see pictures).

A beautifully proportioned Bambara antelope head dress with shell and applied metal decoration - from Mali. This item was made during the second half of the 20th Century.
