A rare Mahogany table with deeply carved traditional West African style geometric decoration and with elegant stylized antelope form legs.
The European shape and African decoration suggests that this item was made for European clients during the Colonial period, is probably Igbo from eastern Nigeria, and was possibly exported to the UK in the 1950s or 1960s during the period of transition to Independence.
Condition: very good - no damages or repairs.
Top 74cm (29.1 inches) x 58.5cm ( 23 inches).

A large dish attractively painted with a snow landscape and with an accompanying poem which describes the scene and reads "men dui han liu xue man shan" translating as "the door is facing the cold air, and the snow covers the whole mountain". The base carries an apocryphal four character iron red Qianlong mark. The landscape is painted in the style of He Xu Ren (1882-1940), one of the Eight Friends, but this item was probably made later, in the 1940s, in the closing years of the Republic period (1911-1949). Condition: excellent - no damages and no restoration.Diameter 34cm (13.3inches).

一件雪景山水大盘，盘上题字：门对寒流雪满山。底有矾红寄托款“乾隆年制”。雪景山水仿珠山八友之一何许人的画风，但估为40年代民国晚期所做。

A bronze Censer, with cover, cast in the form of a seated Crane and made in China during either the 18th or the 19th Century. Condition: this item has been polished many times over the years and only a few traces of the original gilding remain; are some light surface bumps but no damages or losses and no repairs or restoration. 21cm (8.25inches) long; 14cm (5.5inches) high. A heavy porcelain fish bowl decorated in traditional Chinese taste in 17th Century Transitional style with a continuous panoramic landscape. Above the base is a band of 14th/15th Century style breaking waves: above the landscape is a Ruyi / floral border.
Condition: there is a three way star crack to the base - one , which has an associated chip to the footrim, runs down one side of the bowl from top to bottom and a second runs half way up one side (please view enlargements); no further damages and no restoration.

一件青花山水人物全景鱼缸，仿照17世纪的装饰风格所做。上面一圈如意云纹，下部一圈海水纹。
品相：底有三条冲缝形成的蟹爪纹，其中一条连接圈足上的一磕口并向上延伸至顶部（见图），另一条冲向上延伸至腹部中央。无其他损伤或修复。
高30厘米，直径36厘米。

An attractively enamelled and gilded late 19th Century Satsuma earthenware cup and saucer depicting insects and a frog amongst flowers and grasses. There is the impressed signature for the artist, Taizan, on the base of both cup and saucer.
Condition: there are two hairlines - extremely faint on the outside but clearly visible to the interior running from the top of the handle; no further damages and no restoration.
Cup: 6cm (2.4inches) high
Saucer: 12.8cm (5inches) diameter

一组工艺精美的描金彩绘草虫纹萨摩烧茶杯碟，日本明治时期。茶杯和碟的底部阴刻有“带山”款识。
品相：靠近茶杯把处有两道冲，从外部看几不可见，从杯内看较为明显；无其他损伤或修复。
茶杯：高6厘米。
茶碟：直径12.8厘米。
