A finely painted Chinese porcelain vase decorated in 17th/18th Century Kangxi (1662-1722) style depicting two confronting four-clawed dragons amongst stylized clouds and flames against a deep blue "cracked ice" ground.
Condition: excellent - no damages and no restoration.
28cm (11 inches) high. Weight: 1.09kg (2lb 6oz).

A rare porcelain tea bowl and saucer painted with the "bird on the branch" pattern in under glaze blue and decorated with over glaze iron red and gold in imitation of "Chinese Imari" style. This item was made in the Shaws Brow factory of the Liverpool company, Philip Christian, circa 1765-1778. Condition: excellent - no chips or cracks and very little wear to the over glaze decoration. Bowl: 4.5cm (1.75 inches) high; 8.5cm (3.3 inches) diameter. Saucer: 13cm (5.1 inches) diameter.

A rare finely cast Chinese bronze censer and cover. The base carries the six character mark of the Ming dynasty Xuande emperor (1426-1435) but this item was made later, during the reign of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1722. Condition: excellent - there are losses to the foot which happened at the time of casting - but no damages and no repairs or restoration - and with good old patination. 16.5cm (6.5 inches) high; 16.5cm (6.5 inches) across.

A rare underglaze blue decorated Chinese vase, painted in scholar's taste, depicting two hornbill birds on rock-work under a flowering prunus branch. This item was made in the Jingdezhen kilns, Jiangxi province in the mid 18th century, during the reign of the Qianlong emperor (1736-1795). Condition - excellent - no damages and no restoration. 20.5cm (8 inches) high. 稀有不凡的18世纪青花瓶-乾隆 精美稀有的青花瓶,瓶身饰两犀鸟栖息于梅枝下假山石间,品相不凡,具文人气息,系江西景德镇窑瓷,出品于18世纪中叶的乾隆时期(1736-1795)。 品相:完美,无损无修复。瓶高20.5cm。

A very rare wood and pewter bar caraffe or decanter with glass thermos liner and Swiss made musical movement which plays "The Blue Danube" by Johann Strauss. This item was designed by Aldo Tura for Macabo of Milan, Northern Italy, and made circa 1958. Condition: excellent - there is a little rusting to the movement which is in good working condition; there are no damages and no repairs or restoration. 32cm (12.6 inches) high.

An unusually large "Ivory" coloured moulded Bakelite (Urea Formaldehyde) wall plaque designed by William McMillan RA. These plaques were manufactured by De la Rue Plastics and were presented by the War Office to local Savings Committees in appreciation of their success in "Salute the Soldier Week" in 1944. Some are still to be found in public buidigs throughout the U.K.. For a similar commemmorative wall plaque please view cat. no. EPH 4622 in the collection of the Imperial War Museum, London. Condition: exceptionally good - one small 1.5cm production flaw to the left of the rifle but not visible on the reverse. 58cm (22.8 inches) high; 35cm (13.75 inches) wide.

A rare porcelain bowl very finely decorated with stylized flower scrolls painted with overglaze blue and green enamels. On the base is an underglaze blue shop or maker's mark within a double ring. This item was made in China, probably for export, in the early 18th Century during the reign of the Yongzheng emperor (1723-1735). Condition: there are five repaired rim chips infilled with removable Museum Standard Conservation Grade material; there is one associated 4cm (1.5 inch) hairline running from the rim and there is some wear to the interior due to prolonged use over many years. A large heavy bottle vase depicting two confronting five clawed dragons amongst clouds and flames and above breaking waves. The base carries the six character seal mark of the Qianlong Emperor (1736-1795) but this item was probably made later, during the 19th Century. Condition - the neck has been reduced and polished. A small twin-handled bronze censer with a large six character Ming dynasty Xuande mark to the base but made later during either the 18th or 19th Century. This item is from the collection of a British architect who was born in China and lived in Shanghai. It came with him to the UK in 1931. Condition: excellent - no damages. 8cm (3.1 inches) diameter; 5cm (2 inches) high. Weight 180gm (6 oz).
