A very finely painted Chinese blue and white vase painted in late 17th Century 'Transitional' style. The base carries the four character mark of the Kangxi emperor but this item was made later during the 19th Century. Condition - there is a small impact chip to the shoulder and associated old body cracks (please see pictures no.3 and no.9 ) and there is production glaze loss ('fritting') to the base rim (see enlargement no. 8). 26cm (10.3 inches) high.

A fine and very rare bat-shaped porcelain censer with what are apparently bat head feet. We believe that there would originally have been a wood cover secured into the two outer holes and that the incense smoke would have escaped through the three central holes. This item was made in China for the domestic market as a temple or home alter piece in the early 18th Century, probably during the reign of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1722). Condition - excellent - no damages and no restoration. 8.5cm (3.3inches) high;12cm (4.75inches) wide. Weight: 400gm (14oz).
稀有的18世纪松石绿釉蝙蝠型瓷香炉 清康熙
一件精美稀有的松石绿釉蝙蝠型三足瓷香炉。香炉足部似以蝠首装饰。我们认为香炉原本有一木盖，通过炉身两侧的圆孔固定，使用时，炉烟从另外中间三孔冒出。作于18世纪，约清康熙年间，为寺庙或居家祭祀之用。

A very large, exceptionally finely cast, bronze censer in Ming form but with archaic (Zhou) style decoration of Imperial quality. This item was made in China during the 17th or early 18th Century. Condition there is old impact damage with old repair in one place - please view enlargements 5,6,7 and 8; no further damages or restoration. An archaic style vase with crackle-glaze and simulated metal mounts. On the base is the apocryphal mark of the 15th Century (Ming) Chenghua emperor but this item was made much later , in the 19th Century, probably during the reign of the Tongzhi emperor (1862-1874) when this style was first introduced. Condition - excellent no damage and no restoration. 30cm (11.75 inches) high. Weight - 1.1kg (2lb8oz).

A rare mirror black "famille noire" enamelled jar and cover depicting two birds perched on a branch of iron red flowering prunus blossom over green enamelled rockwork. This item is decorated in late Kangxi style (circa 1700-1720) but it was made later, during the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). Condition - there is a hairline crack to the cover (please view enlargement 9); the jar itself is in excellent condition with no damages and no restoration. 14.5cm (5.75inches) high.

A 19th Century Chinese teapot and cover, painted with bright famille rose enamels, profusely decorated with flowers, birds and butterflies. Condition - good. There is wear to the gilding on the handle and there are two firing cracks (sustained at the time of manufacture): one to the rim and one to the top of the handle (please view enlargements 10 and 11). There are no further damages and there has been no restoration. 15cm (6inches) long; 10cm (4inches) high.
