A rare pair of 19th Century Arts and Crafts style polished brass vases made by Townshend and Thompson (Ernest Street,Holloway Head, Birmingham). The base carries the design Registration number 69715 which dates to 1887. Condition - very good - no damages and no repairs. 21.5cm (8.5 inches)high.

A rare Qingbai/Yingqing bottle vase partially covered with greyish, pale blue glaze. There are two applied 'masks' on the neck; around the centre (below a thin floral band) is a moulded frieze of peony scrolls and, above the base, an unglazed band of stylized lotus petals. The base is also unglazed. This item was made in southern China (probably Jianxi province), circa 1279-1368, during the Yuan Dynasty. For similar pair Sotheby's London, 7 June 1994, Lot 234 (est £5,000-6,000). Condition - very good - there is an old, un-disguised
repair to the rim (please see enlargements 6 and 7) and there are some firing cracks to one small area of the base (photo 10). 23.5cm (9.3 inches) high.
元代 青白釉双耳瓶
一件稀有的青白（影青）瓷瓶，瓶身大半部分被浅青色釉覆盖。瓶颈上的双耳为面具形状；瓶腹主要部分饰以缠枝牡丹，下半部分有素胎莲瓣纹饰。瓶底也为素胎。约为元代所做。
品相：很好。口沿有一处老的不易发现的修复（见图6和图7）。底部的一小区域有几处烧造过程中形成的裂痕（图10）。高23.5厘米。

A large, heavy ovoid vase with pale blue green glaze suffused with "Guan" type "Iron Wire" and "Gold Thread" crackle. The brown dressed base and footrim is unglazed. This item, copying a highly prized Song dynasty wares, was made in China during the late 19th or early 20th Century. Condition - excellent - there are light surface scratches in places (consistent with age) but no damages and no restoration. 34cm (13.3 inches) high.

A blue Arts and Crafts style earthenware art vase relief decorated with a single leaping fish. The base is impressed C H Brannam, Barum, N.Devon - a mark used circa 1900-1914 by the Brannam pottery, Barnstable. Condition - there is one large and a number of small chips to the base; no cracks and no restoration. 19.7cm (7.8 inches) high.

A large, underglaze blue decorated saucer dish finely painted with two phoenix on rockwork amongst bamboo and flowering foliage. This item was made the Jingdezhen kilns, Jianxi province southern China, during the reign of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1722). Condition - there are some scrathes to the surface (particulary on the underside) and there is one 4cm light hairline to the rim (please see pictures 4,7 & 8); there are no chips and there has been no restoration. 35.8cm (14.1 inches) diameter; 6cm (2.5 inches) deep.
清康熙 青花凤求凰大盘
一件精美的青花凤求凰大盘，上绘有两只凤凰栖息于花草竹石之间。作于江西景德镇，约为清康熙年间。

A green "Celadon" glazed dish or shallow bowl with flat bracketed rim. The centre is decorated with a moulded peony flower; surrounding this the thick green glaze is incised with stylized lotus scrolls. This item was made in the Longquan kilns, Zhejiang province circa 1400-1500 during the first half of the Ming dynasty. For a very similar example please compare exhibit 16:66, page 489 - "Ming Ceramics in the British Museum", Jessica Harrison Hall. Condition - excellent - there is the usual surface wear to the interior but there are no damages and no restoration. 25cm (9.8 inches) diameter.
明代 龙泉窑青釉印花菱口盘 约1400 - 1500
一件青釉菱口盘或浅口碗。中央印花为牡丹，四周刻有缠枝莲花，为厚重青釉所覆盖。作于浙江龙泉窑，约为明代上半期(1400 - 1500)。类似的器型，请见《大英博物馆明代陶瓷》一书(英文，"Ming Ceramics in the British Museum", Jessica Harrison Hall)第489页第16:66展品。

A "Chinese Imari" deep dish painted with underglaze blue and with overglaze gilding and iron red decoration. This item was made for export to Europe (circa 1700-1730) during the reign of either the Yongzheng or the Kangxi emperor. Condition - there is surface wear and extensive fritting to the rim but no cracks and no restoration. 21cm (8.3 inches) diameter; 4cm (1.6 inches) high.

An underglaze blue decorated plate depicting a pine tree, plantain and lingzhi fungus within a fenced garden. This item was made in China for export to Europe, circa 1720 -1750, probably during the reign of either the Yongzheng or the Qianlong emperor. Condition there are minor rim chips/frits and there is some surface wear to the glaze but no cracks and no restoration. 22.8cm (9 inches) diameter.
