A larger than average Chinese porcelain teapot (with matched cover) decorated in European taste with "famille rose" enamels and made for export,circa 1760-1770. Condition - there is substantial wear to the enamels and gilding but no chips, cracks or restoration. 8 inches (20cm) long;6 inches (15cm)high.

Sold to China - March 2011 售至中国 - 2011年3月 

A large Ming dynasty style square form vase (Fang Hu), with abstracted 'dragon' handles. The vase is decorated in under glaze cobalt blue with "heaped and piled" effect. Alternating bands of stylized floral scrolls are interspersed with bands of lappets, plantain leaves and chilong dragons with shou (long life) signs and at the rim with a key fret border. This item was made in the mid 18th Century during the reign of the Qianlong emperor (1736-1795). Condition - the vase has been broken and has been restored to British National Museum Standard using Conservation Grade materials and techniques. 38.5cm (15inches) high.

大件明代风格龙首双耳方壶。釉下蓝彩有结晶斑和宣纸渲染的效果。口沿回形文,颈部蕉叶纹,中央部分有两只螭龙围绕团寿图,底部莲瓣纹和海棠纹。此件约作于18世纪中期清乾隆年间。
品相:被摔裂,使用英国博物馆文物修复标准规定的材料和技术进行了专业修复。高38厘米。

A good deep bowl flaring slightly towards the brown dressed rim. The interior is undecorated. The blue painted exterior is incised all over in 'sgraffito' style with spiral decoration. On the base is the underglaze blue seal mark of the Qianlong emperor and this item was probably made either towards the end of his reign (circa 1785 to 1795)or during the first few years of the reign of the Jiaqing emperor (1795-1799) while the Qianlong emperor was still alive . For similar please see Christie's, Paris - "Art de Asie" - lot 162, 7 December 2007. Condition - excellent. No damages and no restoration. Height - 3 inches (7.5cm). Diameter 6.75 inches (17.3cm).

18世纪晚期轧道宝石蓝地锦上添花撇口碗
品相完好的深口碗,碗口棕色釉,口微撇,里无纹饰。外宝石蓝色地上饰满“苏格拉费蒂(拉毛粉饰法)“风格的螺旋状纹饰,碗底是青花“大清乾隆年制“款。此碗约出品于乾隆 晚期 (1785-1795年间),或乾隆依然在世的嘉庆早期(约1795-1799年间)。类似藏品请参考2007年12月7日巴黎佳士得 亚洲艺术品拍卖会(Christie's, Paris - “Art de Asie“) 第162件拍品。
品相: 完整, 无损无修复。碗高7.5cm,直径17.3cm。

A rare, very well decorated jar with fine porcelain body, made for export to Europe, probably during the reign of the Yongzheng emperor (1723-1735). Condition - excellent - tiny chip to rim; no damages or restoration. 11.5cm (4.5 inches) high.

A Chinese porcelain coffee cup well decorated in "Famille Rose" enamels depicting a cockerel and peony blossoms. This item was made for export to Europe during the reign of the Yongzheng emperor (1723-1795). Condition - rim chips and cracks have been professionally restored. 2.6inches (8.5cm) high.

An Art Deco style bracelet, set with carved coral and cut pearls, made in China during the latter part of the Republic period - probably during the 1930s. Condition - there are losses to two of the coral flowers (please see enlargement no.8) - otherwise very good. 18cm (7 inches) long.

Early 18th century tea bowl and saucer, decorated in "imari" style in under glaze blue and pale iron red, each depicting a four-clawed dragon amongst cloud scrolls in pursuit of a flaming pearl. This item was made for export to Europe during the reign of the Yongzheng emperor (1723-1735). Condition - there are the usual minor chips/ frits to the rim of the bowl and saucer, there is age-related wear to the inner surfaces and much of the old over glaze gilding has worn off. There are no cracks and there has been no restoration. Saucer dish 12cm (4.75 inches) diameter; tea bowl 7.4 cm (2.9 inches) diameter, 4.3 cm (1.5 inches) high.

18世纪早期的茶碗与茶托,以日本“伊万里烧”(imari)的风格饰以釉下 蓝彩和较浅的铁锈红色。碗和托上各画有一条四爪龙云中戏珠。此件藏品产于雍正年间,为出口至欧洲的外销瓷。
品相:两件物品的口沿有一些毛口,因为年代久 远,碗和托的内部表面有些许磨损,釉表面的镀金也大都磨掉了。但是没有裂纹,没有任何修复。茶托直径12cm,茶碗直径7.4cm,高4.3cm。

SOLD through our Liverpool shop - September 2010 

A rare Staffordshire "Prattware" tea caddy, unusually with original cover. On each side are moulded caricatures of Georgian "society" figures with their servants/attendants. This item was made during the last quarter of the 18th Century, circa 1780-1790. Condition - there are chips to the under side of the cover and the finial has been re-glued. There are some minor surface glaze losses to the edges and the figures. There are no cracks and there has been no restoration. 6.5 inches (16.5cm) high
