A pair of elegantly shaped, finely painted, prunus pattern vases. The bases carry the reign mark of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1711) but these items were made later, probably for export, during the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). Condition - Vase Two (pictured to the right) is in very good condition with just two minor glaze imperfections (see enlargement 9) no chips or cracks and no restoration; Vase One (pictured to the left) is damaged - there is an under rim chip (see enlargement 5) and an 11cm (wide and long) section on the shoulder has been broken and re-glued (please see enlargements 2,3 & 6). Additional pictures are available on request. Both 30cm (11.8inches) high.
