A rare finely decorated six sided vase painted in Chinese taste in underglaze blue with Doucai ("joined colours") overglaze polychrome enamels. This item was made in the late 19th Century, circa 1880-1890) during the reign of the Guangxu emperor. Condition - there is old over-sprayed over-painted restoration and a new chip to the same section of the rim (please view enlargements 7 and 9) - no further damages or restoration. 28cm (11inches) high. Weight - 1.5kg (3lb 6oz)
