A rare fish bowl painted in under glaze blue with branches of flowering prunus blossom and with a band of stylized drum rivets painted below the rim. On the base is a four character Kangxi reign mark but this item was made during the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). Provenance - this is a probate purchase from the collection of a Liverpool artist. Condition - there is a star crack visible only on the outside of the base. 22.9cm (9 inches) high; 26cm (10.25 inches) diameter. Weight: 3.6 kg (7lb 15oz)
