A rare carved Sepik River Mask decorated with mud embedded cowrie shells and human hair. This item is 'old' by Papua New Guinea standards having been made pre 1970. Condition: there are losses to the applied decoration (some having been re-glued) and one of the boar's tusks is missing from the nose. 42cm (16.5inches) long.
