| A very attractively painted dish painted in shades of underglaze blue in Kangxi style. The border is decorated with prunus blossom against a 'cracked ice' ground and the central picture depicts Shoulao, with attendants, holding a peach. Although painted in 18th Century style this item was probably made later during the second half of the 19th Century - circa 1850 - 1900. There is a chip and an associated 1 inch (2.5cm) hairline to the rim and there is also typical rim 'fritting. Diameter - 7.9 inches (20cm). | |||||||||||||
