| A late Ming dynasty jar with under glaze blue banding and decorated in typical Wucai style with over glaze iron red and green and yellow enamels depicting two phoenix in flight amongst styalized peoney foliage; there is a lotus scroll band on the shoulder. This item was made in China and probably exported to Europe circa 1600 -1640. Condition - there is an old repair to the brown dressed rim - no cracks and no further damages or restoration.. 15.5cm (6.1 inches) high | |||||||||||||||
