| A rare, Whitefriars "Chess" vase, pattern no. 9817, designed by Geoffrey Baxter as part of his mould-blown relief-textured range. Aubergine is one of the rarest colours for this shape - listed only in the 1972 Whitefriars trade catalogue. Condition - excellent - crisply moulded with no damages and, other than base wear consistent with age, there are no surface scratches. 15cm (5.8inches) high. | ||||||||||||
