| Large and impressive old handmade vintage Taxco bracelet dating from the 30's or early 40's. The design is very much in the early style of Los Castillo and the piece is handwrought from heavy gauge high purity 980 silver. It is a labor intensive piece, each of the larger hinged plaques is raised in repousse work with cincel decoration and set with a round cabochon chrysocolla stones. The intervening sections have domes in wirework settings. The catch is the early style hinge and pin type and the bracelet is good sized at 1 inch in width x 7 inches in length, the interior is hallmarked with the early - Taxco 980 mark. A high quality early Taxco piece and in excellent condition. | ||
