A miniature work of art, this 'dancer' stands with outstretched arms, ceremonial reggalia on his chest with wings protruding from his back, bells on his feet and wears a loincloth and wrist bands. A unique pair of long tapering vessels in the form of a gourd, decorated with three horizontal registers of step design and vertical stripes, in red and black on a creamy white slip. Height: 9.75 inches. Condition: Good, one vessel is reassembled from multiple large fragments, with no new material or paint, the other has several large stress cracks.
