A beautiful platinum topped gold brooch featuring a bezel set sapphire mounted in the center flanked by four seed pearls on either side. It dates to c. 1900. It measures 2 1/4" long, 1/4" wide and it weighs 4.3 grams. The sapphire measures approximately 3.8 mm across and the pearls measure 2.5 mm across.
