A fantastic Victorian Bride's Basket in Ruby and White spatterware encased in clear glass with gold gilt floral bands around the outside of the bowl and an applied clear rim. It is in its original massive feeling signed Meriden Silverplate Co. holder with birds on the side of the handles. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or wear to the gilt. The silverplated stand is approximately 12" tall and is in good condition for its age with a very slight bend in the handle and typical worn plating. The art glass bowl measures approximately 10" across. It is signed in gilt on the base as shown in the photographs.
