A well modelled stone carving of the standing Parvati on top of a single Lotus base. Under the base we see the rat (vehicle of Ganesh). Below Parvatis two lower pair of hands is Skandi on left and Ganesh on right. Both well carved. The two upper hands are holding the attributes of Parvati, a mirror and a Vajra (thunderbolt). Parvati herself is wonderfully carved with serene smiling face, bejeweled and with nicely carved clothing. A gorgeous small Pala 11-12th century carving. H: 13 cm W: 6 cm. Any questions are welcome!
