Wonderful pair of florally decorated Chinese pewter bowls with dragon handles on the side and foo dog on top. Each bowl consists of three parts: a bowl and lid with an extra bowl inside. All 6 parts parts are stamped with Chinese stamps. On the lid of both bowls some Chinese words that are different from the manufacture signs. Bowls has nice aged patina, traces of wear and some few hardly noticeable dents. Probably manufactured in Swatow end of 19th century. H: 14 cm, diameter: 20 cm.

Mughal period early 19th c. feet of Indian lion made in bronze. 4 pcs. Very nice feets for 4 legged piece of furniture or just as decorative items! Lions in Mughul India was associated with only the most powerful people. It was originally only used by Rajputs a Hindu Kshatriya or military caste in India since the 7th Century. Condition is very good. L: 10 cm. H: 6 cm. D: 8cm. The square hole has a dimension of ca. 4.5 cm x 4.2 cm.

A superb Thai seal, with a registered company name in 3 languages, Thai, Chinese and English. Has a dark patinated metal knob on one side of the handle. Well aged ivory and traces of frequent use, the seal image seems to be in fine condition. Traces of the red ink used. Probably from the 1930-1950'ties, but could be older. Handle supposed to be detachable, unscrews a tiny little but not fully, and I didn't want to push it. Can export since it is pre-ban. H: 7,5 cm (3") W: 5 cm (2"), D: 3.3 cm (1.5")

A masterly sculpted, perfect and very nicely patinated Lord Krishna Venugopala in Tribhanga position. Bengal, 18th c. Lord Krishna is seen in the classical tribhanga position with his right leg crossed in front. Lord Krishna has a beautiful smiling face, a strong pointed nose, big eyes and nice ears with open earlobes. Please notice the many masterly sculpted features, the hair, the clothing, the ankle-rattles etc. Lord Krishna is standing on a wonderful round Lotusbase. This is a sizable carving with almost no wear, a classical position and a beautiful patina. Perfect condition. H: 27 cm

A rare example of an early 18th century rosewater sprinkler in silver from Mughal period in N-India. The sprinkler is nicely decorated with floral scrolling. Made in two parts. Condition: a few hard to notice old dents. On the foot rim one triangle is missing. Silver must be very pure since it bends easily. 27 cm. high

Antique square stone plaque showing the 10 reincarnations of Vishnu, Pala dynasty ca. 12th century. The front side of the plaque has a carved circle with an embossment in the center. From the embossment and around the circle the 10 interpretations of the incarnations of Vishnu are very nicely carved. In each of the 4 corners there is a floral carved motif. The backside of the plaque, shows a seated Vishnu and his consorts, his vehicle the Garuda and probably Buddha on the top, also the backside has floral motif in the corners. These sort of plaques were used as pilgrim tokens brought back from trips to important Vishnu temples. This is a magnificent carving with exquisite details of the reincarnations of Vishnu. Small chip in one corner. H: 8 cm, W: 8 cm, D: 1 cm.

Very old Khmer dagger with bronze handle and iron blade ca. 12th c. The bronze handle is still in almost perfect condition, end pommel/knob with incised circular design, the guard also of bronze has the shape of a lenticular shaped disc. Blade is corroded where the crusty layer of patina has come off. Total length 28.5 cm, blade length: 18.5 cm, blade width: 4 cm, handle length: 10 cm.
