two dancing and playing triangle and trumpet vestals arround a fire (the light). Cold-painted metal.
Stamped on the base:
"Fabrication française/Paris/Made in France".

A fine Empire period ormolu candlesticks of Classical form,
each circular base bordered with grapes and vineleaves,
cast and hand chased with
griffins around lyre separated by acanthus leaves, rosettes and
sunflower heads patterns, corinthian column stem, shaped nozzle
with detachable sconce.
Measuring: 12 1/8" (31 cm) high.
Origin and period: France, circa 1805-1810.

each candelabrum with four-lights decorated with acanthus leaves and palmettos,
corinthian column stem, the foot decorated with large acanthus leaves in
Egyptian style, on triangular shaped base. Excellent condition.
