A French bronze equestrian group of Napoleon Bonaparte on horseback cast by Susse Freres after the model by Jules-Edmond Masson (1871-1932).
The base signed J.E. MASSON and inscribed SUSSE FRERES, EDITION, PARIS and with stamped foundry mark. Original Empire green patina.
On his rectangular black marble base with bronze plate inscribed " Les officiels du Génie au Colonel Paul...Instructeur en chef en reconnaissance

A French bronze figural group entitled 'La douleur d'Orphée'
cast by Ferdinand Barbedienne from a model by Raoul Verlet,
the youthful hero shown standing, his lyre at his feet, his head crowned with a wreath of laurel and his cloak billowing in an arc, Cereberus roaring behind, on naturalistic rocky base, signed Raoul Verlet, numbered 911, inscribed F. BARBEDIENNE FONDEUR and stamped with the Collas reduction roundel. Rich dark brown patina.
Second half 19th Century.

A rare and large terracotta represent a
young boy looking its torn pentalon and seeming to
say (What will say to me?), this is the name of the
terracotta engraved on the original nameplate in french
"Qu'est-ce qu'on va m'dire?".
Incised signature J. Le Guluche on the base and stamped mark:
"Fabrication française". Good condition.
Dimensions: 21.1/2inches(54.5cm) high.
Origin and period: France, late 1800's.

Extraordinary black forest epergne stand, gnome with cornucopia who holded originally an
important crystal engraved cornet, missing today. It is an exceptionally fine carving,
the details of the face are impressive! What a rare hand remarkable sculpture!!!
Condition as founded: two antique repairs, one on the top of the cornucopia,
the other on base; a little wood crack on base, visible on the photographs, but less for a fabulous piece of relatively delicate nature.
