A lovely two-handled onyx jardiniere,
on four "ormoulu" paw feet,
the face decorated with bronze enamelled border
harmoniosly combine with a classical
"ormoulu" ornaments: female mascaron and palmettos.
Condition: the onyx has some damages,
there are six hairlines and two little chips
on the back, one little hole above the female mascaron. See photographs.
Origin and period: French work, late 1800's.
