A laquered and gilded panel represent two monkeys probably a gibbon and an ourang-outan by André Margat (1903-1999). Original parchment frame.
Dimensions: 51.1/7' (130cm) by 24' (61cm) with frame, 39.1/3' (100cm) by 12.1/3' (31cm) without frame. Good antique condition, just four small missings of lacquer, see photographs.
Signed A. Margat and dated 1938.
