Beautiful antique handbag made by antique Italian cut Velvet with Gold thread. Dated to 18/19th century or earlier. The bag has on both sides pattern showing a God or Goddess riding a chariot of four horses accompanied with two angles. Other two angles are leading the way ahead. The textile is silk cut velvet bordered with metallic threads. The hand made tassels are made with metallic threads. There are also hand made metallic thread lace on outside edge.
