A beautiful and large Chinese cloisonné enameled box with 5 old jade plaques mounted on the cover. Decorated groups of big lions and baby lions playing, which are called"Tai Shi Shao Shi". It means good fortune passing down from generation to generation. The four smaller jade plaques are carved with children figures. A masterly crafted Chinese cloisonne plate with heavy brass in pristine condition. This precious artwork is dating back to around 1800 in the Qing period (1644 – 1912).
