Antique Chinese bronze censer on wood stand from the 17th Century, bearing a six character Xuande mark. The resonance sound is like a bell sound when tapped. Comes with a carved wood stand, but may not be original stand.

This matching pair of cream jug and sugar bowl have a circular form.
Each piece has six panels of embossed and chased decoration including cherry blossom and bamboo designs displayed over a matte background.
To the centre of one panel of each piece is a vacant shield shaped cartouche.
Both pieces are fitted with bamboo style handles and both have a bamboo style decorated rim.
