Chinese Qianlong Period, c1736-1795. It is very rare and interesting to find Chinese cup and saucer with acrobat decoration. The cup and saucer are both decorated with a group of three acrobats, seems husband, wife and son and their dog. The wife is a tightrope walker, the son is a juggler with 3 knives, and the husband is a drummer. Chinese Famille Rose Vase - Circa 1905, Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty. It is beautifully painted with a phoenix standing on a Chinese scholar rock surrounded with peony flowers. The hand painting is exquisite. There are two bats on the back painted in iron red symbolizing "double luck".
Size: 11 inch height (28 cm)
