A lovely Chinese 19th Century famille rose bowl decorated with 12 figures in a garden. Excellent hand painting with attractive details. A brown wash on the rim, the foot decorated with a border of waves, the interior painted with small green flowers and leaves. The inside and bottom glaze show orange peel. 19th Century Chinese Cinnabar Lacquer Snuff Bottle with Figurine. One side shows an elder sitting under a tree and pointing his finger at the sun, which is located at right hand side shoulder. The meaning of this scenery in Chinese indicates - to be promoted soon. The other side shows two men peddling on a boat, which was an old Chinese saying "Tong Zhou Gong Ji", meaning: Together we are on the same boat. Chinese Qianlong Period, c1736-1795. It is very rare and interesting to find Chinese cup and saucer with acrobat decoration. The cup and saucer are both decorated with a group of three acrobats, seems husband, wife and son and their dog. The wife is a tightrope walker, the son is a juggler with 3 knives, and the husband is a drummer.
