This beautiful Tibetan silver butter lamp was handcrafted with engraving and repousse, from the 18-19th century. It has been left unpolished with good patina, though there is nothing to prevent its being shined. It is in good condition. Size: 5 3/4" tall. Provenance: from the Pooley collection, Rockford, IL. Reference: A similar Tibetan butter lamp from the 18-19th century in The British Museum collection. | ||
