A Chinese overlay glass snuff bottle, very likely made by Suzhou school workshop in the 19th century. The bubbly clear ground overlaid in blue and carved in relief on one side with a drunk scholar sleeping under the palm tree; The reverse with a scholar and his attendant sailing on a sampan in the lotus pond. Vivid facial expressions.
